Outdoors activities enable you to discover yourself. Adventure holidays provide a change of environment that you may not normally get, and comes with a host of opportunities. It may be your first time away from home, parents and siblings. This enable you to spread your wings and see what you can learn and do. So, you may not be the best at football in the local park, but you may discover that you are very adept at climbing a cliff with a rope and harness providing a safety line. Or perhaps you will enjoy the thrill of white water rafting? Maybe just hiking through open countryside is your idea of heaven. Just looking up at the stars at night on a campsite can be amazing without urban streetlight overwhelming the sky.
