Helen Skelton's Polar Challenge - Halfway there and still going strong

  News

BLue Peter's Helen Skelton is well on her way on her 500 mile trek to the South Pole. She is getting there across the ice by cycling, skiing and kite skiing.
Not satisfied with tightrope walking between the chimney stacks at Battersea power station in London, Helen has set herself the challenge of getting to the South Pole by bike, skis, and kite skiing. This record breaking adventure is all in the aid of Sport Relief.

You can keep up to date with Helen Skelton's South Pole Blog on the Telegraph website.
