Valentine's Day Activity Gift Ideas for Your Boyfriend

  Outdoor Gear

Valentine's Day is fast approaching and men love activity gifts. Get your boyfriend an Activity Gift for Valentine's Day and he is bound to have an unforgettable day.

Girlfriend giving Boyfriend Valentine's Day activity gift

It can be difficult to think of ideas of what gift to get for your boyfriend for Valentine's Day. Fear not. Just appeal to his sense of fun and need for excitement by getting him the gift of an activity experience.

A fantastic variety of extreme sports and thrill rides are available that will get your boyfriend's adrenalin pumping. From these there are a huge range of outdoor activity gifts for your boyfriend that you could get him for Valentine's Day. Here are few ideas to get you started.

Driving Activity Gifts

  1. Rally Driving

If your boyfriend thinks he can drive well, then get him a rally driving experience for an activity gift. He will be taught how to handle a car in slippery conditions, and shown how to keep it under control.

  2. 4 x 4 driving

Your boyfriend will get to find out how to negotiate the most challenging of off road terrain, and be taught how to drive over some unbelievably tough obstacles.

  3. High Speed passenger ride

Let your boyfriend find out what it's like to be a passenger driven at high speed around a rally circuit or racing track.

  4. Drive a Lamborghini, Ferrari or Porsche yourself, even if you are under age!

The Mercedes museum near Guildford in Surrey allows under 18s to drive their A Class around the track. As long as you can reach the pedals, you are good to go.

  5. Monster Car Experience

If your boyfriend is into big powerful cars, then he might just enjoy the Valentine's Day gift of driving a monster truck and crush a few cars in the process.

  6. Skid Pan driving

This activity gift will help improve your boyfriend's driving skills, or at least let him know how tricky driving on slippery roads can be. He will be taught how to control a car in wet and icy road conditions, and have great fun.

  7. Quad Biking

You might like to get your boyfriend whizzing around some rough terrain on a quad bike. Perhaps you could go quad biking together on Valentine's Day.

Water Activity Gifts

  1. White Water Rafting

If your boyfriend doesn't mind getting wet on Valentine's Day, then he will have lots of fun paddling down a wild river.

  2. Power Boating

If your boyfriend has a need for speed, then perhaps the activity gift of a ride in a powerboat on the sea will take his fancy. You could be relaxing on the beach waving with a drink in your hand while he is speeding over the waves.

  3. Deep Sea Fishing

For a more sedate Valentine's Day activity gift, your boyfriend may prefer to spend the day sitting back and catching a few large ones from the deep. Just make sure that he doesn't suffer from sea sickness.

  4. Hovercraft Blast

Boys and their toys go well together. A hovercraft will give your boyfriend the chance to navigate both on land and on water. You could put together a picnic for Valentine's Day and whilst sitting by the side of a lovely lake reveal his present. He will love it. You may find that you get ignored for the rest of Valentine's Day as he plays with his new toy.

  5. Scuba Diving Lessons

For the more adventurous, get your boyfriend the Valentine's Day activity gift of scuba diving lessons. It may be something that you both want to do together. Who knows, it may lead you to having a wonderful holiday somewhere hot and exotic to go scuba diving. The Caribbean perhaps?

Thrill Seeking Activity Gifts

  1. Theme Parks

A great idea for a Valentine's Day gift is to treat your boyfriend (and yourself!) to a trip to a theme park. You may want to get a group of friends together to make a day of it. Travelling together may also reduce the cost. There are plenty of theme parks around the country to choose from.

  2. Zorbing and Sphering

If you want a real laugh on Valentine's Day, get your boyfriend a Zorbing experience. Zorbing and Sphering is where you are strapped inside a big inflatable ball and rolled down a hill. There is also aqua-zorbing, where you aren't strapped in, but several buckets of water are thrown inside. The experience is like being in a shower that is rolling down a hill! He will come out with the biggest grin on his face. Huge fun!

  3. Go Ape High Wire Adventure

For the adventurer in him, take him on a high wire adventure to one of the Go Ape centres at the Forestry Commission locations around the UK. Your boyfriend will get to do his Tarzan impressions whilst climbing and swinging through the trees. There are also zip wires where he will get to go whizzing through the trees.

Flying Activity Gifts

  1. Fly a Biplane or Spitfire

Your boyfriend will love a Valentine's Day activity gift where he can get to actually fly a biplane or spitfire.

  2. Gliding

Send your boyfriend flying high with a gliding activity experience.

  3. Radio Controlled Helicopter

If your boyfriend thinks he has got what it takes to control a complex piece of machinery, then get him a remote controlled helicopter for Valentine's Day.

  4. Radio Controlled Plane

Radio controlled planes are easier to control than radio controlled helicopters, however, when they hit the ground they do tend to break easier. Better a broken plane than a broken heart.

  5. Skydiving

For the real adrenalin junkie, get your boyfriend a skydiving activity gift for Valentine's Day.

  6. Indoor Skydiving

If you can't picture your boyfriend jumping out of an aircraft, then indoor skydiving may be more fun. This is where you go into a vertical wind tunnel with see through sides and ride the updraft of wind like you are skydiving. Fabulous fun, and you don't have to worry about parachutes and heights.

  7. Parascending

A tandem parascending flight could be just the thing to make your boyfriend grin from ear to ear. The views will be fantastic, and the rush is unbelievable.

  8. Aerobatic Flying

This one is a serious rush. Not only do you get to fly in a plane, but you get the thrill of hurtling around the sky doing all sorts of aerobatic stunts. You can fly in either a stunt plane, or a fighter jet for a really high octanne rush.

  9. Hot Air Balloon Trip

A nice sedate flight in a hot air balloon could be the romantic thing you are seeking for Valentine's Day. Great views, and a wonderful shared Valentine's Day gift experience.

  10. Helicopter Flights

Get him the gift of going on a sightseeing tour of a city such as London, New York, or perhaps the Grand Canyon. You can choose from a pleasure flight, a thrill seekers high speed flight, or even a flying lesson.
