News Last weekend I had the untold pleasure of going to the Paddock Wood Hop Farm Music Festival. What a weekend it was. Much music, minimal mud, wonderful weather, staying up all night, and encountering the most intriguing characters. Even Sir Bruce Forsyth had a turn on th emain stage.

  Outdoor Photography: Go wild in the Lake District’s unspoilt Ennerdale valley this summer (904 Reads)
News Canoeing, guided mountain walks, orienteering and woodland playdays are amongst the events on offer in the Lake District’s Wild Ennerdale valley this summer.

Beginning on 4th July, the summer season kicks off with a guided walk in the safest of hands - those of an experienced mountain rescue team member. The walk takes place from 10am - 4pm from Bowness Knott car park and is free, though booking is required on 07712 751060.

News The government's Youth Opportunity Fund has provided over £1m to improve youth facilities for teenagers in Oxfordshire. Young people are being invited to provide suggestions on how they would like the money to be spent.

It is an ideal opportunity for youth to have their say in what activities are provided.
