Bungee jumping, or bungy jumping, is an exhilarating outdoor activity that originates from New Zealand. The first bunjee jump was setup at Kawarau Bridge, between Queenstown and Cromwell, which still operates today.
Bungee jumping involves jumping from a structure high above the ground while attached to a long rubber cord. The place you bungee jump from is usually a fixed object, such as a building, bridge or crane. It is also possible to bungee jump from a moving object, such as a hot-air-balloon or helicopter, that has the ability to hover over one spot on the ground.
The fun of bungee jumping comes from both the thrill of the free-fall and the rebounds
