What is Active Outdoors?

Active Outdoors is an outdoor activity and adventure guide written by Rob Sayers, providing ideas, information and inspiration for young people aged between 13 and 25. Written as a beginners guide, Active Outdoors encourages newcomers to take up outdoor activities, and to give existing outdoor recreation enthusiasts visibility of the wide range of other activities that are possible.

Active Outdoors is about inspiring you to get out more, be active outdoors, explore the world around you and to interact with the natural environment. Active Outdoors is not about being good at sport. It's about having fun and a laugh outdoors with your friends. Don't think that sport has to be competitive. Focus on your own personal best. You never know, you may get fit, feel good about yourself and make new friends along the way.

What does Active Outdoors Provide?

I provide information and guides on every conceivable outdoor activity. You can use the activity selector to help choose something to do that suits your mood. The outdoor activity guides cover what the activity is about, how to get started, what gear you need, and where to find out more. I also cover outdoor information on news, events, jobs, gear, places to go, and what the celebrities get up to outdoors.

Then there's the odd competition and coupons that will help you get hold of affordable outdoor gear.
