At long last there are some decent adventure playgrounds and teen shelters appearing around the country. And if you can have a multi use games area or MUGA that's even better. Here are some ideas for improving outdoor play areas for teenagers. This is what teenagers really want.

Having nothing to do and nowhere to go can lead teenagers to boredom. A resourceful group of teenagers in Whittlesea Australia are boosting the town’s youth activities, and a free movie screening will be one of its many upcoming events.

There are plenty of things to do in the Yosemite National Park, which is located in the Sierra Nevada of California. There are outdoor activities for all ages to do, and this is how one teenager from a big city felt about the wilderness experience.

Big City Mountaineers is a nonprofit organization that gets urban teens outside. They take teenagers from the city and help them to discover more about themselves whilst on inspirational wilderness trips.

The government's Youth Opportunity Fund has provided over £1m to improve youth facilities for teenagers in Oxfordshire. Young people are being invited to provide suggestions on how they would like the money to be spent.
It is an ideal opportunity for youth to have their say in what activities are provided.
