News Kendal Snowsports Club is set to open a new viewing gallery for spectators to watch their friends and families on the slope and inspire more people to take up skiing or snowboarding. The viewing gallery will be opened on Sunday 30th March as part of the Clubís 30th anniversary by local Winter Olympian Emma Lonsdale and has been funded by £50,000 secured from Sport Englandís ĎInspired Facilitiesí Fund together with a similar amount from the memberís own funds.

But less than 24 hours later, they responded with a tactically brilliant 6-5 win over Switzerland's Mirjam Ott, Muirhead delivering a textbook final stone - under the most extreme pressure - to secure the victory.
